Tsum Valley Trek

Commence your trek with a gradual ascent through diverse landscapes. Encounter the rejuvenating waters of Tatopani, a natural hot spring, before crossing the imposing Budhi Gandaki River. Your journey continues through a series of charming villages as you climb towards Jagat, where you'll spend the night amidst the warm hospitality of the local people.

Today's trek takes you deeper into the enchanting Tsum Valley. Ascend through a mix of rocky trails and verdant forests, gradually gaining altitude. Arrive in Lokpa, a picturesque village renowned for its warm hospitality and traditional Brokpa culture. Immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the valley.  

Your journey continues as you trek towards Domje, ascending through a stunning landscape of pine and rhododendron forests. Encounter breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, including the majestic Himalchuli Mountain. As you climb higher, the air becomes crisp and clean, offering a rejuvenating experience.  

Today's trek takes you higher into the Tsum Valley. Traverse through charming villages, crossing suspension bridges over the meandering rivers. Reach Nile, a picturesque village surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain scenery. Visit the renowned Rachen Gompa, a nunnery offering a serene spiritual experience.  

Embark on a challenging yet rewarding hike to Mu Gompa, a sacred Buddhist monastery perched high above the valley. The climb is strenuous, but the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks are worth the effort. Immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance of the monastery.  

Descend from Mu Gompa towards Chumling, retracing some of your previous steps. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you make your way through the heart of the Tsum Valley. Encounter friendly locals and explore the vibrant culture of Chumling.  

Continue your descent towards Sallery, passing through picturesque villages and terraced fields. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, providing ample opportunities for photography.  

Retrace your steps back to Machha Khola, passing through familiar villages and landscapes. Enjoy one last glimpse of the Tsum Valley's beauty before your journey concludes.  

Bid farewell to the Tsum Valley as you embark on your return journey to Kathmandu. Drive through the scenic countryside, passing through Arughat Bazaar. Reflect on your unforgettable adventure as you arrive back in the bustling city.
