Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. Transfer to your pre-booked hotel and relax after the journey. Explore the bustling Thamel area for essential trekking gear if needed.

Day 2 Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Immerse yourself in Kathmandu's rich cultural heritage by visiting iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Finalize your trekking gear and obtain the necessary permits for the Manaslu Circuit Trek.

Day 3 Day 3: Drive to Sotikhola

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola, passing through terraced hills and charming Nepalese villages. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayas as you approach the starting point of your trek.

Day 4 Day 4: Sotikhola to Maccha Khola

Embark on your trekking adventure from Sotikhola. The trail winds through lush Sal forests, offering a serene start to your journey. The gentle ascent allows for acclimatization while enjoying the natural beauty. Cross the Budhi Gandaki River on a suspension bridge, adding an element of excitement. Reach Maccha Khola, a quaint village nestled amidst terraced fields.  

Day 5 Day 5: Maccha Khola to Jagat

Continue your trek along the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through charming villages. The trail offers glimpses of local life as you encounter farmers tending to their fields. Cross the river once again, experiencing the thrill of suspension bridges. Arrive in Jagat, a bustling market town, to explore local handicrafts and savor traditional Nepalese cuisine.  

Day 6 Day 6: Jagat to Deng

Descend into the impressive Budhi Gandaki River gorge, surrounded by lush vegetation. The trail becomes more challenging as you ascend towards Deng. Enjoy panoramic views of the valley as you reach your destination, a quaint village offering a peaceful ambiance.  

Day 7 Day 7: Deng to Ghap

Embark on a relatively shorter trek through diverse landscapes. Encounter rhododendron forests and terraced fields. Reach Ghap, a village known for its Buddhist influence, and explore the local monastery.  

Day 8 Day 8: Ghap to Namrung

Ascend gradually through rhododendron forests, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Arrive in Namrung, a picturesque village with a strong Tibetan influence. Immerse yourself in the local culture and explore the village's unique architecture.  

Day 9 Day 9: Acclimatization Day in Namrung

Rest and acclimatize to the increasing altitude. Explore the charming village of Namrung, interacting with locals and experiencing their warm hospitality. Consider a short hike to Pungyen Gompa for breathtaking views of the valley.  

Day 10 Day 10: Namrung to Sama Gaon

Continue your ascent towards Sama Gaon, passing through the charming Sho village. Enjoy panoramic views of Manaslu as you approach your destination. Sama Gaon offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the region.  

Day 11 Day 11: Acclimatization Day in Sama Gaon

Spend an extra day in Sama Gaon to adjust to the higher altitude. Consider a challenging day hike to Manaslu Base Camp for breathtaking views of the mountain. Explore the local market and interact with the friendly locals.  

Day 12 Day 12: Sama Gaon to Samdo

Trek through juniper and birch forests, experiencing the stark beauty of the high-altitude landscape. The trail offers stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains. Reach Samdo, a remote village with a unique charm.  

Day 13 Day 13: Acclimatization Day in Samdo

Rest and acclimatize in Samdo before the challenging Larkya La Pass. Explore the surrounding area, enjoying the peace and quiet of the high-altitude environment.  

Day 14 Day 14: Samdo to Larkya Phedi

Embark on the initial ascent towards Larkya La Pass. The trail winds through stunning landscapes, offering breathtaking views. Reach Larkya Phedi, the base camp for your next challenge.

 

Day 15 Day 15: Larkya La Pass to Bimthang

Conquer the challenging Larkya La Pass, rewarded with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Descend steeply to Bimthang, passing through glacial landscapes.

Day 16 Day 16: Bimthang to Dharapani

Trek downhill through diverse landscapes, encountering waterfalls and terraced fields. Join the Annapurna Circuit, offering a wider range of trekking options.  

Day 17 Day 17: Dharapani to Besisahar
